Internationell konferens om plagiering

Plagiering inom högre utbildning har fått ganska mycket medieuppmärksamhet den senaste tiden. 16-18 juli hålls en internationell konferens i Newcastle, England för att diskutera problemet och hur man kan förebygga plagiering på ett effektivt sätt: 2012 International Plagiarism Conference. Konferensen, som hålls för femte gången, kommer att lyfta fram goda exempel och aktuell forskning inom området.

- The Conference promotes approaches to authentic assessment, which place the student at the heart of the learning process. It combines personal best practices with approaches to assessment, which both address plagiarism and support a high-quality learning experience along with strategies for managing the issue from an institutional level. The Conference provides a unique opportunity to connect with key thinkers in the field and to discover best practices and new approaches.
